This bull was used in artificial insemination programs in Australia for a number of reasons—

1. Get of Sire winnings —

2. Progeny from this bull have consistently performed well at major shows … as is obvious by his get of sire winnings at such prestigious shows. See pictures of his progeny below
    
3. Well muscled with a frame score of  4. 
    
4. Eight years old — a proven bull with progeny on the ground.  This is an important factor in any breeding program.  Without progeny on the ground it is impossible to gauge how a bull will perform.  As an 8-year-old this bull continues to carry himself well.
    
5. Great feet — never been on a trimming table in his entire life.  Some Highland Cattle have a tendency towards poor foot structure.  A bull such as this with great feet can be an asset to any herd.
    
6. Excellent pedigree — Sire and Sire of Dam imported directly from Scotland.  His sire was Iain Mor of Glenquoich, a Scottish bull imported to Canada.  Another great Scottish bull, Gille Buidhe of Benmore, sired his dam. His grand dam is from an extremely well known Canadian Fold, Glen Osprey Farm.  All in all a great outcross to the Australian herd.
